Spring is in the air even more so than when I first wrote about it here. I found myself clicking anywhere I spotted the word "spring", bright colors or flowers. I also realized that all my choices this week have to do with re-doing something, an artist or designer I've never seen, or simply shopping for spring.
Oh, how I wish I knew about this when it started! This is a photograph I took with my phone. It's of the "S" train in New York City, which is a simple shuttle train that goes back and forth between Times Square and Grand Central Station. It pulled onto Track 1 at Times Square, and I, as well as my fellow passengers, were shocked.
The space over my bed is literally empty. I don't even have a headboard right now. That's why my interest was piqued when I glanced upon a post on CasaSugar entitled "10 Ideas for Decorating Over the Bed". Their ideas are quite unique-- I love the idea of putting a large swatch of fabric above the bed-- I am loving the ones that Pierre Deux added recently. I also enjoy vintage advertisements--I'd love to find one for something feminine, like perfume or lingerie, to blow up and place above my bed.
I'm feeling miscellaneous again. So many things to let you know about, so little time. First I want to ask though, what are your favorite blogs to read, besides your own? I've used many different design blogs in my round-ups, but I'm sure there exists tons more than I'm missing out on. Help a girl out.
